Pale light illuminates the dim expanse
Gleaning only simplistic detail
Opaque wax paper stretched across the landscape
Masking true reality
As the great lights dance above.



Shadowed silhouettes contrasting against dull sky
Shrouded by dark mist
Predatory sounds rage.
Adrenaline coursing throughout,
Confusion reigning supreme,
As the great lights dance above.



Wandering through the abyss
A persevering spirit
Unsure of what lays beyond
Knowing only that the great lights dance above
That the greater light will break
Predatory shadows made low
Opaque becomes clear
When the dawn of light breaks.

Metastisising Cancer

Gazing through the glass barrier
Admiring the capillary order which rules the great organism
Mindless and planless efficiency
Just as it governs mine own



Gazing inwardly
Just another component of the great organism
Just another component of its six billion member nervous system
At the stark contrast between the capillary order which governs mine self, and the world around
And the rigid order which govern's the greater system
Mindful and Planful efficiency



Nervous system's natural order?
Or stricken by metastasizing cancer?
Choking out healthy tissue as the rot spreads,
All components at risk of a strangling end,
Stamping out all other order?
